In some buildings with high lateral drift, Slab deformations due to lateral loads become significant.

U must check the slab action due that, beside this u have check the capacity of the slab boundary zone as ACI 21.9.8

anyone designed flat slab buildings in seismic regions?
i would like to know more, where I can learn more about it?
i see PEER discusses it in the IBC 2003. I am looking now for
it. If anyone knows the current discussions, please also
give some insight.
