I am looking for software, preferably shared or
free, but purchased is OK too that will calculate strapping forces at the edge
of openings in a light framed shear wall. I have seen somewhere a
spreadsheet that will do this for a wall with a single opening, but I am looking
for a spreadsheet (or something else) that will do the same but for multiple
openings in the wall.
Is there anything like that available out there
that anyone has written that they would like to share or possibly sell. My
spreadsheet abilities are not all that great. I would like to dive into
something like that, but I also don't seem to have a lot of time recently.
If nothing is available, then I guess I'll have to take a shot at it at some
point.
Thanks,
Joe Grill
