Essentially that will not make any difference in your calculations, provided you make sure to use the corresponding resisting “allowable shear values” of the table for R of 4.4 or 5.5.
This goes back to the old CBC 2001 (or UBC 1997) where we had the R=5.5 established for plywood shearwalls. Where Hardy Frame had to adjust their tables based on R=4.4 For table of R=5.5.

Showing my ignorance of IBC/UBC through little use thereof.
What makes up the 'R' value? I'm trying to align some Hardy Frame table
values (quoting 'R'= 5.5 & 4.4) with the local 'R' for loads I'm using here
in BC.
