Seriously, Bill, I'm sorry to hear that.  Like many of us - been there,
done that, and I didn't like it.  But it forced my to open my one-man
firm where I worked 20 hours a day, earned very little money, got ripped
off by shady clients, but learned a helluva lot.

Oh, and when your H.R. person asks you to sign that form?  You're
supposed to smile a wide, warm grin, and politely say that your legal
council advised against signing anything at this time.  It puts them in
a most uncomfortable spot.  And their reaction is priceless.
