Hi guys, What is the minimum embedment length of steel pipe piles allowed
by the code? I am looking at a 6” embedment in to my concrete cap and
another 3” clear for my reinforcing steel above the pile but not certain
if this is a rule of thumb or by the code. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks, Julius Micayas Senior Lead Structural
Engineer
