<Sorry for the potential double post -- I got a message saying my original message was blocked by a spam filter> Diaphragm table in building code states "minimum nominal panel thickness" (and requires minimum nail penetration). So, for 1-1/8" sheathing, use either 15/32" Str. I numbers or 19/32 sheathing numbers (turns out they are the same numbers). And make sure nail is long enough to provide 1-1/2" penetration (1-5/8" for older building codes). Tom ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas D.
