I sent this a few days ago, got a notice it didn't go through so I'm
trying again. Sorry if I'm repeating myself.
RE: 1633.2.5 Ties & Continuity
1.-Is the result of the formula in Allowable Stress or Strength Design
values?
2.-The beam, girder or truss ties requires V= .5*Ca*I*(D+L). Is (D+L)
the reaction at the end
of the beam or the total load on the beam?
