Cinch anchors went the way of the dinosaurs many years ago. The anchor consisted of a bolt to which pairs of "washers" were added. Each pair consisted of one iron and one lead washer. These "washers" were approximately the same thickness as the bolt diameter, were conical (truncated) and the major diameter was somewhat greater than the head diameter of the bolt. After placing in the hole threaded end up, the washers were compressed to create a friction connection. I have pictures and dimensions of various size anchors but unfortunately they are in my office, 1200 miles from here. Can anyone clarify what a "cinch anchor" is? Is there perhaps a website with additional information? Thanks in advance, Dave K. Adams, S.E. Lane Engineers, Inc. 979 N.
