I do not know if it is suitable in this situation but,I have utilized precast Double Tees as walkways in many WWTP's. I take a typical 8' wide section and cut it to 5 feet wide. I put handrail 4 feet apart(centered in the web). This serves as an economical way to span long distances. Randy Russ Russ Engineering Group, Inc.
