I'd greatly appreciate it if someone
who has this document **1988 version only** at hand
takes a quick look in chapter 11 and tells me whether
or not it contains any special provisions
for headed studs in concrete. 

(Judging from FEMA140 example calcs based on the 1988
version, it appears that the 1988 edition doesn't
have detailed provisions for headed anchors...
they must have been added in the 1991 edition.)
